Privacy and Data Policy
Membership data and right to be informed
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) The Green PEA Scheme is obliged to process its membership records fairly (known as ‘fair processing information’) and to be transparent with its members in how it uses their personal data. Members have a right to be informed about the data we hold on them.
Our membership database records usually contain no more information than each member’s organisation, address, telephone number and email address.
If there is specific personal information about you that you do not want The Green PEA Scheme to hold within its membership records, please advise us and make your request to the Chair.
We do not pass members’ personal details on to third parties; they are held and only shared within the Group’s Directors as designated for specific group administration purposes such as administering our invitations for our events and sending out scheme updates.
